How to Control Your Taste


I’m not saying here to not pick things that you like. You always have to pick things that you like. But you have to avoid going too far. On the opposite end of the spectrum is not doing enough, but this is harder to do.
You want to stay in middle. That middle area is a very hard area to judge. It is primarily using your gut; judging others reactions to work that you create. You don’t have to use everything that people say, but if you get the same message from more than one person they might have a valid point.

The Importance of the Logo


Designing a logo is very simple. Pick something important to you, to your business. But it has to be something simple. A logo has work well at all sizes. It is also important to make sure your logo passes the copyright law test. It has to be unique and different and not be confused with anyone else's logo or brand.

Big Things come in Small Packages


You are the little guy competing with a whole bunch of other little guys for the same jobs. You are a small firm competing with the big players. Image is everything and content is king. Having a well thought out image can be easy. It is not having everything out there at once, it is developing something simple that show cases you at your best.
A key element to that is a simple design. But you can’t go overboard in what you do. Content is where it gets difficult. You just say what you want to say as simple as possible. If you don’t get it right on the first try just do it again, do it as many times as you need.
